Construction of special-purpose 3D geological models

Construction of a 3D geological model of the locality of interest is the basis for the safe and effective use of the rock environment under the earth's surface. 3D geological models are also one of the important decision-making tools for sophisticated and expert-based decisions of state administration.

Service description
  • Consultation with the client regarding the purpose and future use of the planned 3D geological model

  • Preparation of data sets based on the primary data supplied by the customer. Search and compilation of other archive data

  • Reconnaissance verification and completion of these data by field research

  • Creation of 2D map inputs and other derivatives of archive and new data, which serve as input data for model construction

  • Construction of the 3D geological model

  • Formulation of a brief report describing the methodology, data sources and uncertainties of the resulting model

  • Export of 3D model in the required format - 3D vector in DXF or 3D PDF format, 2D exports e.g. in DXF or SHP formats – e.g. as inputs to design SW of CAD type or as starting geometry to subsequent numerical simulations
